Using Disk2vhd

Disk2vhd is a tool which can help you convert drive to a VHD file that can be used by Microsoft Hyper-V and Microsoft Virtual PC virtual machines. Disk2vhd can online capture the physical hard disk to a vhd file.

Disk2vhd supports Windows XP SP2, Windows Server 2003 SP1, and higher, including x64 operating systems.

How to use
1. Download and save the file to hard disk.
2. Launch Disk2vhd.

3. Check the drives which you would like to convert a vhd file.

Remark: Disk2vhd can convert multi physical hard disk to a single vhd file.

Remark: The option "Prepare for use in Virtual PC" shows in the operating systems which are Windows Server 2003 or Windows XP. It is used to converting a vhd file that can be booted on Microsoft Hyper-V or Windows Virtual PC virtual machines.

4. Click "Create".
